Situated in the heart of Roussillon region of Southern France, the Domaine Piquemal was created at the beginning of the XXth century and covers 50 ha (125 acres) of slopes in the Valley of Agly, at the foothills of the Corbières Mountains.

Pierre Piquemal started helping his Grandfather run the estate when he was only fifteen. Both of them, passionate about wine, contributed to the vineyards settings. Down the years, the property grew through the acquisition of neighbouring land.
1983 marked the first bottling of our traditional Côtes du Roussillon and since that date, all wines have been bottled at the Domain, by our own team.

Domaine Piquemal has remained in the same family since, with each generation bringing innovation and improvements. It is a family concern: Annie & Pierre help their children to run the estate; Franck, the son, has been the winemaker for the past 13 years, formulating the blends and determining the styles to be given to the wines. Marie-Pierre, the daughter, heads the marketing and commercial arms in both France and overseas
