Along the Agly River, the mix of soils gives rise to a mosaic of “terroirs”, composed of slates, marls, gneiss, granite and limestone.
The estate is notable for its multitude of soils: from one parcel to another, the earth changes notably from red to black to white!
The vines are exclusively of highly reputed grape varieties mainly planted on chalky clay soils, on marls and on “schistous” soils....
They also benefit from exceptional sunshine all year round and from a low rainfall, which ensures our wines are well-balanced with concentration and with a fascinating range of flavours.
